Queen City Vegan
was started in Jan. 2009 by Justin Holt. A freelance designer by trade, he was
not happy with the current mismatched lists of Vegan restaurants, groceries, and
community resources found on the web for Charlotte and the surrounding areas.
Thus, Queen City Vegan was born.
The aim for the site is to be a comprehensive
information resource for all Vegans and friends to find something to eat,
somewhere to shop, or somewhere to hang out without worry of what (or what
isn�t) Vegan.
The site is slim to start, as Justin felt the community needed to
be a part of the growth of the site. He is gathering restaurant information,
grocery and farmer�s market information, shopping locations both in charlotte
and mailorder, and community resources.
