I teach The Bradley Method� of natural childbirth classes in Winnetka, CA, and
am also a birth doula. My students are well informed about the process of labor
and birth, know how to stay healthy and low risk, and have lots of fun together.
I have had a 100% vaginal birth rate (0% cesarean section) among my
students in the past two years and a 96% vaginal birth rate since I began
teaching. Compare that to a 31.8% cesarean section rate nationwide in 2007 and
28.8% CS rate in California for the same year. 100% of my students in 2007 gave
birth without the use of drugs and 87% of them had natural births in 2008.
