I have eleven years experience in supporting parents during and after birth. I
make suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, breathing,
massage, positioning, and other techniques for the mother's comfort. I am
independent and self-employed. As a doula, I am working for the mother and
father, not their caregiver or hospital.
These are the services I provide as
a doula:
Continuous emotional, physical and informational services
�2-3
in-home visits
�Unlimited telephone consultations
�On call 24-7 two weeks
before and two weeks after your due date
�Uninterrupted support during labor,
birth, and postpartum until mother and child are comfortably settled to
facilitate bonding
�Labor support with relaxation techniques, breathing,
massage, and natural alternatives
� Immediate initial breastfeeding support (if
breastfeeding) including up to one year after baby's birth
�One postpartum
follow-up in-hom visit one to four weeks after baby's birth.
