We at Tune Farm cultivate 3 acres of certified organic produce. We specialize
in a wide variety of heirloom vegetables and fruits. The farm is headed up by
Diane, Suze and Oliver- a farmin'team with a zest for lesser known local foods
and a passion for sustainability and food education.
This year we are
offering:
- a Spring share-7 weeks- brimming with lettuce, carrots, turnips,
radishes and greens for the leafy vegetable enthusiast
such as collards,
turnip greens, mustard greens, and kale.
- a Summer share-14 weeks-
including some spring veggies at the beginning before moving into our bounty of
tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, melons, muscadines, figs, okra and much more.
- a Fall share- 5 weeks- many of those same summer veggies until the cool
weather dwindles down their production and then a resurgence of greens,
broccoli, carrots, lettuce and many of the same spring crops.
We hope to
provide full shares for 30 families at a cost of $30/week. Feel free to email
